Farm owner, Martha McNeale will be discussing the importance of diversified farming, or the production of a variety of crop and livestock products to ensure farm stability. The workshop will also discuss the importance of working with other farmers within the local farm community to promote their businesses and develop great relationships.

Earth Day weekend is a great time to plan your spring garden. Join Casey Farm's experts in the greenhouse as they lead you through the best techniques for growing early crops such as microgreens, growing potatoes in patio pots, and starting your plants from seed. After giving your plants a good start at this hands-on workshop, take them home and nurture them for your own delicious produce. Casey Farm staff can instruct and inspire you with their experience in organic farming methods as you plan your season's planting.
Planting materials are included with registration, but please bring gardening gloves.
