Join us on Saturday, August 8th from 9 am to 1 pm as we celebrate National Farmers Market Week.
Michael Rocha, M.D., local cardiologist, will speak on the health benefits of shopping at farmers markets.
Andy Tomolonis,local author, editor and longtime organic gardener will be available for a book signing of "Organic Hobby Farming" and here to answer your gardening questions.
There will be a special musical appearance by Mike Couto, Dan Schwartz and Mike Rocha for a few tunes.
Joanne and Scott Harding of Stone Bridge Farm are avid beekeepers and will be there to answer your questions and give out samples of their local, raw honey.
We're celebrating rain or shine! Please use our dedicated parking area off street.

Michael will talk about composting and how to properly prep your garden beds in the fall for the next growing season. Bring a water bottle and a pair of work gloves. Celebrate Corn Season at the Gore Place Farm Stand!
Friday, August 28, 4:00-7:00 p.m.
On Friday, August 28th, you can eat roasted corn freshly picked from local farms and try some rosemary infused lemonade. There will be games on the lawn in front of the farmer’s cottage and if you purchase some fresh picked corn from the Farm Stand, we’ll help you turn the husks into great dolls and toys! Bring a picnic and visit the sheep and chickens! Admission is free. Food and beverages sold individually. Proceeds go to supporting all mission-related programs including the farm at Gore Place.
