Green Street Cafe in Northampton, MA
""Connecticut River Valley Cuisine""
64 Green Street
Northampton, MA 01050
Located for nearly 20 years on the Smith College Campus Green Street Cafe not only features Valley fresh produce (much of it grown by owners Jim and John) but also preserves it for off-season use.
The Cafe serves a Connecticut Valley Cuisine which incorporates Eastern European recipes in a French kitchen. In winter duck is roasted in a woodburning fireplace and in summer hamburgers, sausages and garden vegetables are grilled in the Cafe garden-patio.We use our own sauerkraut not only in pierogis and solianka but, also in a decadent chocolate cake. Whatever the season, Green Street Cafe serves very good food making the most of the Valley's bounty. Featured in Bon Appetit, Gourmet, New York Times, Boston Globe, Yankee Magazine.
The Cafe is open 7 days a week serving Lunch , Sunday Brunch and Dinner.Private dining rooms are available serving 8 to 50 guests.
