A bit about Swan Farm Pies
Your story: We believe people like you are searching for serious yummy pies and tarts with locally sourced berries bubbling over into a tangy and sweet, award-winning crust. Heaven in a hand...they freeze well...they ship well and come to you with quirky pie wisdom.
Our story:
It all began with an organic garden and four women selling produce, plants, and pies in 2005. The gourmet farm pies were a hit from the first day. We won Rhode Island Monthly’s best pie award in 2006 and we sold our pies to Castle Hill, The White Horse Tavern, and Eastside Marketplace.
After a 10-year hiatus -- you know adage “life is what happens while you’re busy making other plans”--we begin again with our pies but with a new twist. We still have the same award-winning crust, We still have the same belief in freshness- ginger from fresh ginger, never ground, lemon juice and zest from the rinds of real lemons, never from concentrate, but we’re baking pie tarts, mostly. Of course, large pies are available upon request.Last but not least, a large percent of our proceeds are donated to National Alliance of Mental Illness (RI)
