A bit about the South Kingstown (Summer) Farmers Market
Established in 1982, the South Kingstown Farmers Market is the longest running farmers market in Rhode Island.

You'll find all kinds of farming represented at the SKFM, and all of our farmers enjoy telling you how they farm, what sustainable farming is all about, and why the farmers market is important to the continuation of local farming. Have a question about agriculture? Ask our farmers!

Along with shopping for your week's meals, come sit a while, meet up with friends, relax and listen to our musicians, enjoy fresh cold pressed juice, coffee or lemonade with a breakfast or lunch treat.

The Spice of Life

We all know that spices provide flavor for our meals, but did you know they can also provide nutrition? This Saturday Spice Gypsy will provide you the opportunity to smell what really fresh spices smell like, and educate us all on why fresh spices are the perfect addition to your meal preparation tool kit.

Spice Gypsy has over 70 spices, blends and teas to enhance your cooking. Have you ever used Culinary Lavender? Jamaician or Cajun Spices? Why are rubs and flavored salts so popular? What about Saigon Cinnamon, Curry, Smoked Paprika, Steak Spice and fish spices - want to try them out in your favorite recipes for a culinary change?

Nina packages freshly ground spice each week, sourced locally and free of additives, many with no salt or sugar, just pure flavor! Spice Gypsy is located under the Gingko tree at the market. Stop by to learn, smell, and ask all your spice questions!

Foods at the Market*

Though every season is unique, we use our Harvest Calendar and information about what each vendor produces to provide a good guess as to what will be available at the market each week. But we don't have details on which farmers come to this market. If you do, let us know.
