A little about Revive The Roots
Revive the Roots is a new non-profit organization dedicated to creating and promoting healthy environments and the production of organic, local food. We are a group of young activists looking to make significant steps towards making our local communities self-dependent. We currently are leased 16 acres of agricultural farm land on which we practice permaculture (meaning "permanent agriculture"), by predominantly planting edible forest gardens (or "food forests"). By planting perennial, food producing trees and shrubs, we allow the forest garden to simply be - grow and produce - while investing minimal human effort each year.

Revive the Roots also hopes to one day facilitate a Permaculture education center as well as many other outreach programs.
