A little about Westbay Farm
Westbay Farm was founded in 2005 on the 240 year-old Barton Farm to provide fresh chemical-free produce to low and moderate income people. In 2019, we grew 23,000 pounds of produce, 70 percent of which was distributed by Westbay Community Action's Marketplace food pantry in Buttonwoods and other pantries. We also have pop up markets at Sparrows Point and Shalom senior housing in Warwick, Wescott Terrace in West Warwick and the Sharing Locker at Westminster Unitarian Church in East Greenwich.
Westbay Farm is managed by Steve Stycos with a lot of help from Mo Davis, Ampha Therien, Kathy Schofil, Deb Santi, Carol Nolan, Ryan Onorato, Debbie Hedison, Jane Smith, Monica Manooshian, Wayne Whitman, Carol Kozun, Mary Kay Kinsella, inmates from the women's prison and other volunteers. New volunteers are needed weekdays.
We accommodate people with physical limitations.
