A little about Coggeshall Farm Museum
Coggeshall Farm Museum is a living historical farm set on 48 acres in Bristol, Rhode Island. With a long history as a tenant farm, the museum is a time capsule of Rhode Island agrarian life. We use this recreation of a coast Rhode Island tenant farm as a tool to educate both adults and children about America's agricultural history through hands-on, multi-sensory experiences, and as a vehicle to preserve rare breeds of livestock and heirloom plants typical of Rhode Island's past.
